Floris Havelaar
Developing, building, managing, purchasing, leasing: real estate means dealing with all kinds of different parties. Often there are complex partnerships. It is important for parties to understand each other, make clear agreements and document these properly.
Floris is the real estate specialist at LOYR. He approaches problems from a practical perspective. It is often more effective to find a solution based on the shared interest than to get bogged down in the legal wrangling. His approach is characterised as analytical and pragmatic. He makes the, often complex, material easy to understand by using a sound cost-benefit analysis and a clear step-by-step plan.
His cases range from land purchase to development, the handover of keys and management. From the start of the process Floris is open about the legal possibilities and implications. Real estate is in his blood. In addition to law, he also has a degree in real estate/brokerage. Thanks to his thorough knowledge of all aspects of real estate, he is also asked to work as a secretary at the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI).
